AutoStitch is an amazing piece of software that automatically stitches together your photograph’s into great looking panorama’s easily. AutoStitch is the product of Matthew Brown and David Lowe at the University of British Columbia, and you are free to use results that they generate without restriction.

To use, just change any Options from their default values (I usually set Height to 1024 and leave everything else alone.)

Then just load in all the photo’s that are part of the Panorama. There’s no need to manually put them in order, AutoStitch will do that for you. Anywhere from 10 seconds to 2 minutes later (depending on how many photo’s and how large the finished product), out pop’s your Panorama. In my experience, much better looking that any that I got out of Canon’s bundled software (PhotoStitch) for my G2.
